• Sitedeki sosyal medya aktivitesi nedir? Eğer yüksek sayısal değerler varsa bu değerlerin hepsi organik midir?
• Site aktiviteleri sosyal medyada ne ölçüde paylaşılıyor? Siteye girmesem bile sosyal medyadan takip etme imkanım var mı?

• Sitede reklam var mı? Varsa sitedeki sayısı, yerleşimi kullanıcı tecrübesini nasıl etkilemektedir?
• Sitede banner reklam var mı? Yani başka kişiler/firmalar para verip reklam alacak kadar sitedeki istatistiksel bazı değerleri iyi buluyor mu?
• Sitedeki tanıtım yazıları, advertorial içerikler vs. sitedeki içeriklerin önüne geçiyor mu?

Site Sahibi/Site Ekibi

• İçerikler ne sıklıkta ekliyor?
• Yorumlara cevap veriyor mu? Cevap verilebiliyor mu? Verilen cevaplar ziyaretçiyi memnun etmiş mi?

Ziyaretçiler bu ve bunun gibi kriterleri tek tek kontrol etmeseler bile farkında olarak veya farkında olmadan girdikleri sitelerde bu gibi sorulara cevap aramaktadır. Bu gibi soruların cevapları da sezgisel düzeyde açığa çıkmaya başlayınca (yani site ile ilgili bir izlenim oluşmaya başlayınca) ziyaretçi bir sonuca varır. Buna göre de sitede sadece ziyaretçi olarak mı kalacak yoksa belli aralıklarla siteyi ziyaret ederek takipçi olarak devam edecek karar verir.

Ben her zaman umutsuz olanları umuda sürükledim. Ben hep inandım ve inanmak başarmanın yarısıdır. Msw'de yarı finale çıkıp çıkamayacağıma dair şüphelerim vardı ama hep pozitif düşündüm. İnanın çok işe yarıyor. Ne olursa olsun kimse umudunu kaybetmemeli. Evet destekçim azdı belki ama özdü gerçekten. Hepsi kalpten inandılar. Stardoll ekibi Youtube kanalında videolar paylaşmaya devam ediyor.

Yeni bir tema ile yayımlanan videoda geçtiğimiz aylarda ilk 'Stardoll Diaries' videosu ile karşımıza çıkan 0xbritzx0 sunuculuk yapıyor! 

Haftalık olarak güncel bir şekilde yayımlanacak olan videolar serisinde Stardoll'daki haftalık gelişmelere yer verilecek. Bu uygulama videosuz underneathstardoll ve stardollcufecir'de yapılıyordu. Stardoll ekibi çok beğenmiş olacak ki kendi Youtube kanallarında, bir Stardoll üyesinin sunumu ile paylaşmaya karar vermişler. :)

Ben Brittany's Weekly Recap Episode 1 başlığı altında paylaşılan ilk videouyu çok sevdim.

Devamının geleceği belli olan videolar serisinden şu an için tek beklentim Stardoll'da en çok üyeye sahip olan Türkiye için Türkçeye çevrilmesi. 

ve elbette Türk üyelere de bu tür fırsatların eskisi gibi tekrar sunulması da eminim tüm Türk üyelerin beklentisidir.

Nirmala Mayur Patil is a kindred spirit.
A person I met through the algorithms of Instagram.

Rang Decor is full of colours but today it will be bathed in the serene whites of Nirmala's frames and words.

Birth of a new moon.

the new moon rises unseen
fleeting over treetops and the brooding hills of the west
it dusts the grey sky with its silver
and the evening with tender feelings.

standing at my kitchen window
i see it greet the earth in solitary silence
a few moments pass by, sweeping with it
noise and dark from my day
leaving behind a shimmering calm
and my own loneliness, to enfold.

Nirmala is a freelance writer and photographer. 

She love evenings, quiet, words, starsong, good manners, heartmade things, hindustani classical music, her family and love. She holds a masters in communication and journalism, has taught as a lecturer and worked as a copywriter at an advertising firm before becoming mother to her precious girl.

Looking at her work one wonders if the visuals exist because of the words or the other way around.

Nirmala says, 'My relationship with words and writing was born very young in my heart. Although I didn't read or write much earlier, words in the form of handwritten letters and ghazals drew me into their deep folds. Later during college years, books flooded my life and I became a devotee. But it's a paradox that I equally worship silence. And photography walked in through my soulmate, who taught me its alchemy. Today, photography and writing, to me, are a means of preserving myself. Through them I make lyrics of my everyday.'

What draws me to Nirmala's work is that she is inspired by the essence of seasons, the principles of Ayurveda, deep respect of our Ancient Vedic traditions and tries incorporating them into her daily life.

'I love infusing our life with the essence of seasons and age-old traditions. Learning of our seasonal harvest and becoming aware of the meaning embedded in Indian festivals and rituals has made me feel more rooted in our ethnicity and respectful of our ancient Vedic wisdom. 

I practise through simple acts of observing the moon cycle, taking abayanga snans often, burning incense and vaporising essential oils, relying on home remedies as-much-as and whenever possible, and cooking with freshly ground spices.'

each evening, for years... wrapped
in an old fraying shawl, she stood on
her terrace gazing at the sky... listening
to the stars coming out. their soft
twinkle filled her soul with a faraway
music and she whispered back
her wishes into the singing heavens.
on some very special days, when a fallen star or two drifted downward, she gently
gathered and braided their twinkling
magic in a secret jar...

In Iceland with 66°NORTH

Nikolaj Thaning and I working close with the Icelandic outdoor brand 66°NORTH.
This trip to Iceland is only the beginning and we are looking forward to reveal more, when all the details is settled!

FACTS ABOUT 66°NORTH

66°NORTH was founded in 1926 by Hans Kristjánsson with the purpose of making protective clothing for Icelandic fishermen and workers braving the North Atlantic elements. Hans Kristjansson lived in Suðureyri in Súgandafjörður in Westfjords of Iceland where weather conditions were very harsh and right clothing was therefore a matter of life and death for Icelandic fishermen. Hans was passionate about creating garments that would hold up to the harsh conditions fishermen faced while trolling the seas of Iceland so he moved to Norway to learn how to tailor and sew fishermen‘s clothing. When Hans moved back to Suðureyri he founded Sjóklæðagerð Íslands (Fishermen‘s clothing factory of Iceland) now better known as 66°NORTH. 66°NORTH derives its name from the latitudinal line of the Arctic Circle which touches Súgandafjörður where the company was founded in 1926.

I can't count how many times we had to make a sudden stop, so we could go out and shoot. Iceland is a photographers paradise!

Hotel Djupavik

This is only the second time I get to see the Northen light and on that night, it was more beatiful than I have ever seen it before. Not only was it very visual, it was also multi-colore.

The Milky-way was also there to give us a show

They say that Hotel Djupavik in Westfjords, is the ideal place to see the Northen light! I can highly recommend you take the trip up here and stay for the night just for the Northen light, but make sure you know it's gonna be a clear sky before you go!

Tommi

Tommi from 66North took us to his hometown in the Westfjords, where he told us about his amazing but also very tragic story.

When Tommi was 11 years old an avalanche nearly took out his whole home town. He survived the avalance by having his closet falling on top of him. He was trapped for 24 hours before the rescue team found him. 1/4 of the city was wiped out. His childhood house is the only house not re-build, to remind them of the tragedy. Two people, a girl and her mother was in the room next to him... they didn't survive. On Tommi's portrait you can see the mountain where the avalance came from.

One of the many things that I love about Iceland is the many infinity roads, that seems to never end!

After Westfjords, Fannar and Tommi had to go back to work, so they gave us the rest of the week to ourselves!
 

Nikolaj and I took the long way to the south-east of Iceland by taken a detour through the highland.
It was amazing!

We climbed 300 meters(76 floors) above sea level and found this Ice tunnel in a glacier mountain. 
We were hoping for some Ice caves, but at this time of the year, it is just not safe for us to go in.
